Hello there and welcome to Melanie Ashcraft Photography!!!
I’m glad you have found me and I hope you enjoy reading about all the fun happenings here at Melanie Ashcraft Photography! As you can tell, I’m Melanie Ashcraft. Some of you may know me as being the photographer behind : Photography by Melle. I have since changed, and became Melanie Ashcraft Photography. I will sometimes refer to Melanie Ashcraft Photography as MAP. I shoot natural light custom portraiture. I enjoy shooting engagements, newborns, toddlers, kids, and families. I’m located in Richmond, Texas which is right outside of Sugar Land. I service the Richmond, Sugar Land, and Katy areas, but do travel to areas outside of these areas.

Here at Melanie Ashcraft Photography, you will find sneak peeks from recent sessions, new promotions, and of course, you will get to see what goes on in my life as well. You will also see images from my life as well. A little about me…I’ve always loved photography and growing up, I always had a camera in my hand. My love for it grew even more once I became a mom. I wanted to capture everything that my kids were doing. Photography is an extremely important part of my life, and I love that I can capture those priceless moments in my life, and also be able to help my clients capture their priceless moments.

At Melanie Ashcraft Photography, you will get to know me more, and get to know my family. I am married to the wonderful and handsome Brett Ashcraft, and together we have 2 adorable and fun girls. Molly, who is 7, and Lily who is 2. Being a photographer, mom, and a wife are the jobs that I have, and I love that they all go together! As you can tell by my website, I love bright colors. I love having fun, and like to carry that into my sessions. I like to get to know my clients, and feel that they should also know their photographer.
